I am looking into options to help my 9 year old daughters literacy and numeracy and someone has mentioned KUMON to me. Does anyone know how much this costs?

Thanks

There are two fees for Kumon study:

Registration fee 15 per child. Payable before starting Kumon.

Monthly subject fee 45 per child, per subject, per month. Payable in advance. Monthly Dual subject fees (maths & English) = 85

The figures above are for UK study centres. The equivalent fees for Ireland are 25, 70 and 134.

My son done KUMON maths for just over three years. We stopped in September when he started secondary school because of all the home wok he was getting. We found that it really helped with the basics of maths. His adding and times tables became really quick when he was having trouble. He would go down to the Kumon study centre twice a week and work down there and get new work to do at home. You will be given work sheets to be done every day so it is a commitment that you make sure that the work is done and marked daily. It covers the sums side of maths, adding, takeaway, adding fractions etc but not things like graphs, mean, mode, percentages.
