Thanks again..x
I saw The Rubettes a few years ago as part of a 'disco' package stage show. I have always loved their kitch approach, their onderful songs, and their ability not to take themselves too seriously, so i knew i would enjoy their slot.

What left me gobsmacked was their acapella version of Neil Young's 'After The Goldrush' which left me with a lump in my throat - many bands would kill for harmonies as good as that.

Enjoy yourself!
I got their debut album, "Wear It's 'At", back in 1974. Still have it. Surprised to find out years later that, despite having a No.1 single, the album was a huge flop and never made the charts.
That was some 'High -Note' on Sugar Baby Love......Wonder if he can still hit it ?
