This is probably in the wrong section but I couldn't see anywhere else to put it.
In the early to mid 80's (I'm sure) there used to be a childs story book that used to come with a tape that you would play alongside the book as you read it. I'm not sure if you could buy it in the shops, my aunty was training to be a teacher at the time so it may have been a teachers aid, though I doubt it. I'm 26 now so I guess this was 20 years ago.
She only had 2 books, so I can't really give more info than that. I know that in the early 90's they released 'story time' and it was a folder that you could keep the tapes in, this is not the same thing!

This probably seems really unclear and muddled but if anybody has a clue...Thanks in advance

My son used to get the Storyteller tapes and books in the early 80s. I know it was then as he was about 3 or 4 when we started to collect them.
I loved the storyteller books and tapes, you can get them on ebay, my sister bought the entire set!! costly though
My eldest son (born 1991) had a set of three Sesame Street books with tapes, it played a certain noise to tell you when to turn the page. He really enjoyed them at the time.
