dehumidifier

Please could anybody tell me how much a small dehumidifier costs to run for about 6 hours a day. Many thanks, Nita

Depends on the power of the appliance. Electricity is sold in units which (i think) are per kilowatt hour. i.e. one unit is the cost of running an appliance of 1 kw for one hour. So say for instance you buy a 1kw machine and electricity units are at 6.5p then it will cost �0.39 per 6 hours - �2.73 a week or �141.96 a year. I stand to be corrected though.
