When I was a child I can remember my grandmother (1897-1976) reciting a poem about avoiding the demon drink! It contained the lines...'.until the age of 21, drink nothing but plain water. After that they might drink tea, but nothing any stronger'. .......and.......' if all folks did agree with me, they'd live a great deal longer.' I don't know any more, but would be really grateful if anyone out there does. Joanne 7-8-02

Jay - The search engines don't throw anything up, but I found a site that's definitely worth a try. It's bits and pieces of poems that you post for like-minded people to indentify. The success rate is very high so ....good luck! http://www.poetrylibrary.org.uk/poetry/quote/quote
