Apologies for bringing the mood down, but I think I have a sound and valuable theory on why Cot Death occurs. Who do I speak to, in the medical world, about my theory??

That's brilliant.
Why not contact the National Association for the Study of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome - I think they are known as SIDS.

thanks for that. I must stress that its only a theory, but relatively a simple theory. Who knows, I may get laughed at or I may get a Noble Prize and more importantly save children!

Sausagemash - dont really wanna tell anyone my theory just yet, lets see what SIDS say. But I can assure you that my theory is very simple, but quite probable. Sorry to hear of the bad news
theres no harm in telling them of your theory though there have been many over the years that seem very simple and yet sadly babies are still dying for apparently no reason.

the answer may just be a simple one and everythings worth trying
