I bought mine in Maplins. TDK is the brand.

Thanks for that - unfortunately I need an audio only CDR with a printable surface for use with a CD recorder - all the TDKs at Maplins appear to be optimised for a computer.
There's no real differnce between blank audio and data CDs. I get mine from Argos and use them for music.

Not quite correct squarebear as my cd recorder (not a PC) will not record from a data CD.
Are you referring to a Phillips recordable CD player? If so, I've got one of these, and I've been able to buy blank CDs in W H Smiths. Hope this helps.
Just Google 'cdr full face printable', you'll be spoilt for choice !.

1. Thank you lynndreef, but WHS don't sell printable Audio CDRs. 2. Thank you whattheheck, but I've tried Google and the combination of an audio printable CDR doesn't come up. Some merchants say they are both audio & printable, but further enquiries prove they are not. My CD recorder, which has nothing to do with my PC, will not record to a blank data printable CDR - it will record to an audio CDR, but I don't understand why nobody appears to manufacture a printable one. Yes I know I can make paper labels, but my printer will actually print direct to a printable CD.
