Water stains

I have just got a new sofa bed and decided it would be a good idea to leave a damp towel on it - now its a got a mark on it. The sofa bed is brown in colour - any remedies for water stains????

Why on earth did you think it would be a good idea to leave a damp towel on it????
Once it's dried out, try rubbing it with a coarse cloth
