A proper etch a sketch. People can do amazing things with them.

It could be, but I saw a documentary about it on tv a while back, the championships.

Someone did Nelson Mandella, another did the Statue of Liberty. Really excellent stuff.
And don't forget - you can't 'save' an etch a sketch picture. Erase it and you have to start all over again.

I think it would be nigh on impossible to film 'bits' of sketch and overlay them to get the whole.
Apparently its not real. On Jo Whiley show (BBC Radio 1) they contacted mini and the advertising agency but got no reply so they analyzed the video.

1. It is impossible to draw a perfect circle on an etcha sketch
2. You can not draw a line that goes know where.

Both these occur in the film. They are waiting to hear from mini & the agency to hear different.
