Does anyone know what North West radio and television personality is up to now. She was on Granada TV, Piccadilly Radio and BBC GMR in the 80's and 90's. But what does she do now???  Is she still on radio or TV??

Susie Mathis (now aged 56 or 57) was diagnosed with breast cancer last Christmas (was in the paper in Manchester in April), and was seriously ill with the treatment...She had surgert removin 2 tumours and 19 lymph nodes and then 15 weeks of radiotherapy. After it was all over she revealed how very close she was to breaking down emotionally despite normally being a very positive person.

I don't think she is working in broadcasting anymore but for nearly 5 years has been working as "Campaign co-ordinator for "The Kirsty Appeal" to raise money for Francis House Children's hospice in Didsbury, nr Manchester.

She is also working on a book about 8 year old Kirsty who is the "front" of the appeal, a little girl who was given six weeks to live,...5 years ago!
