I am having trouble finding a dentist who gives anaesthetic injections. I cannot cope with dental work without a lot of medication. Hypnosis does not work, pills are not strong enough.
Help please!

All dentists will give these injections for fillings, extractions and so on.

I can't imagine a dentist not using anaesthetic.

It is hard to find a dentist who is prepared to knock you out, though.

Sorry, I meant a tranquilising shot in the arm. I can see i have worded the question badly. Thanks for answering.
By 'knock out' I assume you mean a General anaesthetic I'd I'm personally quite pleased that you struggle to find one because GA in general practice (with an anaethetist present) has been illegal since the late 90s.

I think you are referring to sedation, if you look in yellow pages for dentists offering sedation I'm sure you'll find one.
