I have just purchased from e-bay a few dvd series of the Love thy neighbour from the 70's tv. This was pure comedy and not allowed to be shown on tv now .The coloureds gave as much back as the white people. You may recognise Rudolph Walker now in East Enders. Bring back this sort of comedy. What do you say? Too much of can't say this ,can't say that ,can't do this can't do that in case it offends. After all we were all born the same way.

I quite agree. We are far too sensitive these days, political correctness gone mad.
i would of thought little britain was giving this kind of comeday a run for its money?
'Little Britain' = comedy?

I loved it, the white guy was always shown up to be a racist bigot so I never saw what the hue + cry was all about.

hold on a minute.......... i never said i enjoyed little Britain but i was in about the racist humour they have with the Indian woman in weight watchers and the old lady who is always sick.

i would rather sit through 3 hours of Jeremy kyle than little Britain................. and i despise JK after watching about 3 unfortunate minutes of his program?
rugeley?
Are we twins seperated at birth?? I adore Sarah-Jane Honeywell, loathe JK and I got the 'joke' first time I saw Little Britain' without the constant repitition show after show after show
I think "Love thy Neighbor" was the show that the American show "All in the Family" was based. It too was highly controversial, but a big hit. I see old episodes now and wonder if it would be allowed on today's airwaves as a new programme.
i couldnt of put it better my self Mr Lambert........ it really is the same joke through and through!!

sarah jane.............. yeas please!!!

Jk............why????

as for twins?......... i'm sure you've got 10 years on me!! lol@ ;))

Little Britain: a satirical distortion everybody knows that, similar to jeremy......and jerry. Successful comedy follows trends...... the human rights law that came into play is probably responsible for the pc culture.
