Umm hot dogs, jacket spuds with various fillings, hot sponge pudding with sparklers in it?
mulled wine - very warming!
bangers and mash, soup out of mugs, you can mull apple or grape juice for the kids and non drinkers (me this week, Mr Woofganfg is on call so we are tt for the week :-(  ) Be careful only to serve the mulled fruit juice warm if its for children
Jacket spuds in foil in the bonfire. You can do corn on the cob the same way too.
my mam always does ribs, chilli, jacket potatoes+cowboy beans on bonfire night! MMM!
chilli and jacket potatoes - just the stuff and piddle easy to cook. Have a wicked time!
Mulled cider is nice too and cheaper than wine
Jacket potatoes & hotdogs.
Definietly Chilli con carne and jacket potatoes - maybe a hot soup and lot of cruisty bread, and a big salad. People can help themselves and you will have to minimal cooking atthe partyu as you can prep it all beforehand. Also you can get mulled wine mix which I prefer as I always seem to much up mulled wine

Having a party myself and I'll be doing the Jacket spuds with chilli and bbq-ed sausages in rolls.

How about pizza cut into slices, garlic bread, cheese straws - which can be made in advance and good to dip in hot tomato soup if you wish. I think you need good finger foods that people can help themselves to.

And for those with a sweet tooth, what about home-made bread pudding slices, flapjack or gingerbread?
