quick answer needed - creme fraiche in soup

im simmering a home made veggie soup at the moment. i would like to use up the creme fraiche i have. should i have put it in at the beginning whilst sweating the onions, or can i put it in at the end? im worried about it not mixing in properly now.

sounds lovely, personally I would at it at the end and it will just melt in as you stir

Drizzle it in before serving.

Or, after it's in the soup bowl, then add a dollop or two.

Haha - definitely add the creme fraiche at the end of cooking, not at the beginning, if you really MUST ....... I hate the stuff (but I also hate cream, I can't cope with the bitter taste......) I'd rather just have a good homemade veggie soup personally....
figure, i would rather have somebody rub in some VICs but yeah the soup would also be nice lol
