Hi - i know this sounds daft but i suffer with my wrists and the best thing i have used is 'skateboarders wrist guards'!!!! Obviously they're no good for writing or anything regarding tiny or intricate work - but they will defo help with lifting......
You can get a good wrap around one in JJB sports or probably any other sports shops... I had to get one for my son when he hurt his wrist playing basketball... It gave him good support and wasn't too restrictive. You can also use it on both wrists.
