sidekick mobile phone

hi im looking to buy a sidekick juicy couture phone from the states but was wondering wether it will work once i get it to the uk. its on t-mobile so im hoping if i get a t-mobile chip it should work. if it doesnt work is it possible to get it unlocked. any info will be hugely appreciated. thanks truangel x

The radio frequencies used for mobile phone services in the USA are different to those used in the UK. Check to see whether the phone is 'tri-band', in which case it will probably work.
However, you'll need to buy a separate charger. The one which will come with a US phone will be for 120V. If you plugged it into a UK socket (240V), you'd burn it out.
Remember, as well, that you'll get hit for import duty and VAT when you import the phone.
