I have to ginger Toms that i have looked after for the passed 3 years because their former owner was going to put them in a cats home. Unfortunately my landlady is selling the house i live in and i have to move to smaller accomodation and i wont be able to take them with me. I desperatley want to find them a nice home but am struggling to find someone to take them. They are lovely cats and i would love to take them. Can anyone give me advice on finding them a home?

that's a shame.
have you advertised in the local rag or post office window? have you actually asked if you could take them with you to your new home? who knows - maybe the new landlord is a cat lover???????
good luck
Where do you live? I run a small rescue service with a friend.

Hi Annie,

I live in Hornchurch/Romford, Essex. Do you have much luck in finding homes for your rescue cats?

Thanks for you response.
I have 2 rescue mogs from the Cat Protection League , so try them also they will keep them together when they rehome them , as they will settle better in a new home . The CPL don't but cats down , they are a brill charity . Do hope you can keep them ,we would be lost without our 2 girlies . Good Luck .
Hi mr.bungle....Do try the CPL as the last post stated. They are a very good rescue charity and will not put healthy cats to sleep and do go to alot of trouble to find good homes and do their utmost to keep pals together.Good luck and try not to worry too much, cats can be very adaptable once they settle in a good home. g

Mr Bungle

There is a shop in Hornchurch Road, opposite Harrow Lodge Park, and the couple there also take in cats for rescue and rehoming. I can find out the number of the house if you'd like?.
Sorry we are in Kent a bit too far away. We have been very successful in rehoming many cats over many years. I used to work with CP but would probably go with the smaller group that La Diva mentioned if you feel ok about them as they usually have less cats and therefore more time for each. Good Luck

La Diva that would be most helpful. Thanks everyone.
ok - I'll have a look on Monday!
I'll have them. Apparently they are very good curried.
it's a shame you live in essex - so far away from me.

i'd have welcomed them into my home with lots of love.

however - the answers you've already received should help you.

good luck in finding somewhere

Thanks La Diva. I use the gym at harro lodge park so i can pop in when i go.
OK - the shop is painted blue and called "Grosvenor Stores" and its on the corner of Grosvenor ?Drive? and Hornchurch Road. Dead opposite is the cricket pavilion.

Good luck! Please let me know how you get on.
