I remember back in the 70s you could get delicious tinned fruit pies and cakes - I think they were called Purdey's. They were popular in hampers. Does anyone remember them? Can you still get anything similar?

I did see a Xmas cake sealed in a tin , it must have been in one of big supermarkets or M&S ,nice pressie ,apart from the postage , Happy New Year
