The answer is Daisy Miller.
Just for the record:  When you are talking about a female hero it is a heroine (with an "e" on the end).  Otherwise people are going to be looking for James' addiction problem...

Thank goodness that's been sorted out. You know, I misspelled something just the other day and I couldn't help thinking, "Well hey, at least I'm not a complete ****. Unlike that gardeningfan."

And then I thought, "What would life be like if people were allowed to drop an e from time to time?" It's crazy, I know; I thought for a while that it wouldn't really matter at all, that life could continue, and be good, and happy, be and fre(e).

But I was wrong. Dilcinea, what with her perfect grammer and spelling, cleverly pointed out that people might get all confused and start thinking about James' drugs instead his female heros...

I'm still not sure how anyone with just the most basic grasp of English could come to such a silly conclusion, but she's got to be right. We should that gardeningfan killed.
