Sky + Box - Recorded Programme Playback Problem

We've only had Sky + a few weeks, but one of the programmes we have recorded just will not play back. Have tried all the ways, pressing play, select, trying to start it from 10 mins from beginning etc. This happened once before and we just deleted the programme. Do you think there is a prob with the actual box? Any ideas please?

This happened to us and when we rang the help desk they talked us through housekeeping the box which unfortunatly deletes all programmes. Eventually the box was replaced but out of warranty it cost �65.

Thanks for your answer, tickledtrout. It sounds as if the box may be faulty then? We only paid for the Sky installation and got a free Sky+ box as my son and DIL wanted us to sign up to Sky to get some free M & S vouchers! The box is guaranteed for a year so if it happens again I will act quickly before it is out of warranty. Thanks again.
