I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to put a password access on particular files... so that if anyone tried to open the file or view its contents a password would be asked for. Not just for naughty pictures, but sensitive information or details etc. My computer has a login password setup. I have a Mac OSX panther thankyou

You cant restrict access to a particular file. The only thing you can do is set up different logins for each person who uses your mac. A password is needed each time to log  but you could save your files etc onto cd or gizmo. It might tell you more in the manual you got with your mac.

I don't let anyone touch my ibook so my safe!
