Our recently purchased gas fire in the wall has gone mad and making a constant bleeping noise . It has a remote and I cannot see how to stop the sound. It should only bleep when we turn on th fire . I have removed the batteries from the remote and it is still bleeping . Any ideas as it has been bleeping for 6 hours and won't stop ! I have a baby in the house and this is driving everyone nuts. The fireplace showroom are crap and won't get anyone out for a week !

Are you absolutely certain its the fire?
It could be your smoke alarm needing new batteries. Worth a look I would say.
Sorry not to be more help.
Does the fire itself have batteries? If so maybe they need replacing???
if the fire is bleeping it is using electricity, either mains or battery so to stop the bleeping either remove the battery or the plug.
