My sons partner has had two friends die this last couple of weeks with cancer. Why are we all so worried about Christmas, presents, food, if the house is clean and tidy what does it really matter if long lost aunty turns up and doesn't like your untidy house.....for goodness sake...lets all chill out... if your relatives have a problem with your hospitality then stuff them don't invite them next year.

Cheers, pastafreak, I don't feel so guilty now!! (Anthea Turner, eat your heart out!!) Hiya, leg, me old mucker!!
By the way, there are 3 weeks' supply of wine bottles waiting to be recycled, in the kitchen! I was going to take them to the bottle bank, but the Co-Op car park (where the bank is) was flooded and I didn'y have my wellies on, so they came home again! I've now added to them and the flood had subsided, so hopefully they'll go before Christmas!! K xx (Then I can start again!)

Kleiber ...I was just about to switch off for the night when I read your post, you are so right, Happy Christmas to you and your family, if I could choose where to go for my Christmas dinner it would be to your house. pussx.
Hi, bigmamma. Sorry haven't been around for a while - I keep seeing you on other posts, asking how I am, but by the time I get to reply, it's days later & too late! Thanks, I'm fine (apart from a cold that I've had for 2 weeks now & can't shift!). Hope you & Porsche are well.
Puss - you'd be welcome for Christmas dinner! I've got a goose (K Jnr doesn't like goose) and a turkey, home grown sprouts & carrots (if the mice haven't eaten them all!) and loads of wine. There's only the two of us, so we'll be eating goose & turkey all week!! I got a lovely hamper from work, with a pud and some wine as well (amongst other things), so we've decided to have a complete piggy day. Off to the pub at lunchtime, home for dinner, round to friends later and then back to go to sleep in front of the telly (that's after I've fed the cats, dogs, sheep & put the chickens to bed!!) This'll be the first Christmas dinner I've done since Mr K died (been invited to friends the last 2 years) & to be honest, I'm quite looking forward to spending Christmas at home. K xx
Hope you can shift that winter cold kleiber , and enjoy your christmas at home with your son and your animals. Have a lovely peaceful xmas sweetie :-) xxx
Thanks, bigmamma, and the same to you. Will your son be home for Christmas? K xxx
Yes kleiber , he is home as we speak sat on the sofa :-) xxx
