I want to fit a set of inertia type seat belts to my Herald Convertable. I have a set ( not sure from what make or model ), but I don't want to modify the car without knowing the end result will work.

thanks

I am not sure that any inertia real belt will work, the fact that on the Herald the real is low down and the belt goes up over the shoulder. You could try the Thiumph Herald owners club. The only thing I can think of is one from a Thiumph Spitfire these were made up to the late 1970's so there may be some belts from them about.
My Spitfire has them ok.
Rather than fit belts of dubious history get some from a proper outlet like Moss Europe, Rimmer Bros or TC Fitchett!
