I use a stainless steel cleaner and kitchen roll, but only work on a very small area at a time. Too big an area and it goes smeary.
Also doing the same thing using small amounts of baby oil apparently works.
I use the cif stainless steel cleaner on my sink and surrounding area and it comes up really sparkly.

I tried to use it on my cooker too which i thought was stainless steel but it mustn't be as the cleaner did not work on it!
I clean my s/s cooker with washing up liquid & a scourer and when it's dry, I take a small pad of cotton wool (make up remover sort) & put some baby oil onto it and go over the whole of the s/s area - comes up really shiny, smear free & protects against any more stains/spills etc... you only need a thin coating of it
Hi Bronners
We use "Shiny sinks" ( a cream cleaner), then rinse off and finally dry off with an "E Cloth". These are obtainable over the net or from B & Q etc. Brilliant.
Hope this helps
