I only like a very small portion of Christmas pudd, with Sainsbury's thick single cream!

But I do prefer my home made mince pies with either, thick single cream, brandy butter & brandy cream.

Apart from that, I love Tip Top!

...my mam makes a lovely white sweet sauce ...no brandy in it as there is enough alcohol in her homemade pud....she was never stingy with the old booze when it came to the pud my old mam...hic....

Greek Yoghurt , Creme Fraiche or any plain, unsweetened yoghurt - counteracts the richness of the pudding beautifully.
