This morning on my daily commute to college, I had found out that the fare had gone up over the weekend. Because i only had the amount that i had used before, the bus driver was patronising me into giving the extra 10p. Because he wouldnnt pitch the '10p' i had to use the 10p off my money that i would use to get home. I then felt like a tramp when i asked my friends if any of them have 20p they can lend me.
The buses are always late, theres only one an hour to where i live, and the drivers i have experienced are so in-polite.
Was he being inpolite, should i complain to the superiors?
Is it right that he was patronising?

Thanks for the replies guys. I should really take more money with me as some of you had said.
Can you actually get 'friendly' busdrivers, anyone met one before?
Agree with Hussy, the bus driver was a little jumped up nobody being on a power trip just because he could. Can't stand people like that.
