Anyone know where I can sell a very recently bought decent laptop for a good price and but a newer version that looks aesthetically more pleasing?!?

You won't get anywhere near what you paid for it - prices fall very quickly, and people want the security of buying from a store.

Potential buyers will think you are selling a 'lemon'.

I don't know of anywhere that does part exchange.

ethel is right .... there is no money in second hand kit

and if it's as ugly as you say .... (after all who would want a multi quad core machine with100000000Tb of storage and 10000Gb of ram ... if the light in the fan was the wrong colour?)

donate it to charity ... and enjoy that nice warm fuzzy feeling
maybe they can put you in contact with victim support ....or maybe buy a nice pair of rose tinted specs
