If recent sentencing is anything to go by he'll get 3 weeks in Barbados in order to 'find himself' and 'rediscover human values'. Seriously, as he used a baseball bat he should also have been charged with possession of an offensive weapon. Depends on his previous. If he has any he may get a custodial sentence of roughly 9 months(guessing) or if none then a fine and compensation to you. If he doesn't work then he may get community service.

thanks for your help much appreciated but yes you could be right british justice goes against the hard working public of britain.
It depends if the person who done it has got previous convictions for violence, If yes then there is a chance he could get a prison sentence, if not then most likely he will be required to do say community service. Obviously there are other factors as to reason for the attack which will change it either way.
I really hope he gets cast down with the Sodomites.....some how I doubt it though!
he'll probably get 3 years for ABH - and be out in 12 - 14 months.
