In the last couple of years, the football Association have paid Sven a 3M payoff to go away and now McClaren's 2.5M payoff. That's 5.5M for no product.

In light of that, is the 4M that Jose Mourinho is asking for his services a bargain?

People have such short memories.

The way Chelsea played for the last 2 seasons of his reign was appalling, negative, dour and the play acting and abuse given to officials was shocking.

You may as well give the job to a monkey in a suit or even better just disband the team.
I think Jose is lovely so i'd love him to be in charge.
Based on the fact he has smouldering eyes and wears nice overcoats lol
Of course Reverand! Then it's not so bad when they lose.lol
Well seeing as im not a member of the Village people it won't work for me lol
You could be if you wanted to.........lol
Mourinho's last two years at Chelsea were so bad because of the breakdown in his relationship with the owner. He was overruled on every decision he made concerning new signings.I want him for the England job,I reckon he'd be brilliant at it as long as they don't expect him to toe the party line and keep his gob shut.lol
i'd prefer Capello to be honest or Redknapp.

Bring back the turnip, thats what i say!
Redknapp won't get it,not after his arrest on suspicion of corruption yesterday.
that wont stop the FA, how many other fock ups have they made.
Chelseas last 2 years had nothing to do with the owner.

Mouriniho got his team to cheat, play act, bad mouth officials and play the most terrible football to watch.

That was burger all to do with Abramovich.

Lets not forget his Porto team in the Uefa Cup Final against Celtic. Embarrassing.

Get bloody Peter Tatchel, he knows how to look after a load of ********!
Thats P00ft3rs!
I am with jodie73

I have no interest in football but the TV will be on in my house so, if that is the case then at least lets have someone who is very pleasing to the eye.
I'm with R1Man!
The way to ensure it's a bargain (irrespective of who gets the job) is to establish a rolling contract with a three month termination. That way, this ridiculous business of huge payoffs following failure doesn't arise. McLaren had a 4 year fixed term contract.
Employment terms that are good enough for 97% of all the employees in this country are good enough for football coaches. They aren't gods.
Is he asking for that amount?, or are the F--- A-- prepared to pay that sum?
What a f----- shambles they have put themselves in.
In the 1990s they sold their soles to Murdoch, which in turn created a gravy train in which all & sundrie have milked, to the hilt, at the expence of ALL LOYAL football fans up & down the country. The term LOYAL only applies to the fans, as not many players share the same devotion.
So when a Mr Scudamore states in the media. "Dont blame me for England flops" he is actually part of the system WHO is to blame for the shambles that is English International football. He is just Another PARASITE who will milk the fans while blaming the government for its sporting curriculum.
if you dont offer the right money then you will end up with a pratt

pay the money

take your chances
tho i doubt jose will stand the hassle from the press without quitting
