How do you make the perfect Shandy?

Do you put the Lemonade in first or the Lager?

I worked behind a bar for 18 months and we always put the lemonade in last.Sometimes its best to get rid of the fizz in the lager first by stirring it vigorously with a plastic spoon.

When I worked in bars we were always taught - lemonade first. The only time we did lager first is for a lager "top"

after working behind many bars for many years i found the perfect way to make a shandy. poor half a glass of lemonade then slowly poor the lager (at a slant so you don't get a big head)

LAGER? What the **** does lager have to do with a shandy? Shandy is made with BEER, not some fizzy alco-pop. Half ginger beer topped up with half bitter works well.......

The stuff they call lager is what the ancient monks used to call small beer.
It has never been lagered.
