After "ridding" my computer of spyware applications, I found that loads of bookmarks'd gone missing. These weren't particularly important - but it was very annoying. I'm using a 4 year old computer with Windows XP, and not very good with technical things. Is it possible to retrieve the bookmarks in a simple fashion? Thanks.

Neil, thanks for answering my question.
Recently I uninstalled Firefox; when it was installed again all the bookmarks were gone. If they were stored in the document folder, how do I go about putting them back in the bookmark? Thanks.
Firefox automatically backs up your bookmarks. If they go missing you simply need to rename one of the backup files as 'bookmarks' and replace the dud file with it.
