Evening Panic Button and Beads , I don't think you are missing out on these if you have no need for them . I use them as a means of communication
with friends and family :-) xx

I wouldn't bother with Myspace. I have an account and I find it full of useless stuff.

Facebook is just a way showing off how many friends you have to your other friends. Wouldn't bother going there either unless you want to find friends you have lost touch with. Even then, most of the time you can't click into their profiles as they have activated the security options.

Messenger is OK though.

PB, your life is none the poorer for not having an account on these sites. I made the mistake of accepting an invitation to join someone's list of friends on Facebook. Had to open my own account to be added to their list and now I really wish I hadn't. I get endless emails telling me people have posted stuff on my profile and a lot of the time you have to add a new application to it in order to view what you've been sent. Half the time the applications don't work and the other half of the time I've gone through all the aggro of doing it to find out it's one of those stupid things you get in email circulars, or it's something stupid and inane and I've wasted my time.

I really don't like Facebook...can you tell?

Its a good way of gettin back in contact with people you went to school and college with. Iv got back in contact with friends who now live abroad. Its worth it for that alone
