Anyone be able to give me an idea of what the weather would be like at the beginning of September in the Rhine and Moselle Valleys. We are thinking of taking a motorbike tour around the area.

From my experience travelling through them for a couple of years, it will be like the UK. It could be hot (indian summer) or it could be peeing it down! On balance I would say like a pleasent late summers day here, but watch out for showers!
