Is it okay to add powdered yeast and or garlic powder to dogs food to help keep the fleas off and away? And if vanilla extract okay to add to the dogs food as well? I was once told that these items work well with fleas and a shinny coat.

Garlic can give a dog wind not sure about vanilla, Tea Tree oil is very good at keeping fleas at bay and also leaves a nice smell too.
these products can be dangerously harmful to your dogs digestive system, garlic is ok in some dogs but can cause runny stool and sickness, yeast is extremly risky, please dont give it, try coconut shampoo as it is a natural deterrant but frontline or stronghold are very good at their job!!
Dogs fed a normal balanced diet should not need any supplements. Garlic tablets can help to keep fleas away, although they will not get rid of fleas that are already present.

So all you previous post know,,garlic can KILL you pet , any garlic puts you pet into kidney failier and will make your dog very sick, so stay away, none of them work for fleas ad you can add a little mineral oil for a shiny coat
I used to mix flowers of sulpher powder with my dog food and it did wonders for the fleas without harming them. Garlic works as well but dont let the doggie breath to close to you or you might pass out!
