No S on panini. It is the plural of panino

Thank you seahorse - my thoughts revolve around two words, the first being, Smart - the second begins with A!
I thought you meant how do you prepare pinnys...I usually iron mine and put it straight on! :)
What are you planning on having as the filling in your panini? I usually split mine lengthways, lightly toast the outsides, then throw some cheese & ham on the untoasted sides & put it back under the grill.

Filling was Tuna and soft cheese, but I think I over cooked - 4 minutes under grill resulted in too crisp pinini - result, first bite, squeezed all the filling out! I don't think a spoon would would be provided restaurant!!
What's your favourite filling?
i cook these at work a lot, 3 mins is usally ok for tuna and cheese

my fave is ham and cheese
or goats cheese and spring onions
chicken bacon and cheese


hmmm i think my life may revolve around cheese!
Made some for supper the other day with some of the roast lamb we'd had for tea,with just a little of the gravy.I then put it on my Gearge Foreman Grill.I also like beef and onion ones also with a touch of gravy. In fact I like them with anything.
