BF2 on windows vista >??? Not working

Hey,

installed bf2 on my new computer today, which uses windows vista, and it doesent work ~! when i double click on the icon the screen goes black for about a second then just back to desktop . i cant get any further then this stage !

Any help would be great ,

First thing to do if a game won't run is to check whether your display card drivers are the latest version.
