how did your detox do that you were on

The fruit and veg 1? I did it for 4 days in the end I think didn't really have much of an affect to be honest...It must look like I'm obsessed with dieting/detoxing! :o )

The thing is I've lost inches (5 in the past month & 1/2) but the weight has gone up and I know muscles weighs more that fat but does that really make any sense?

Going to the gym at least 4 times a week sometimes more, this week I'm going 6 time poss 7 if I can squeeze in an aquafit
yes I have been exercising each morning and I dont eat loads apart from when I go round mums. And I've put on more weight but seem to be toning up.
dont you think that the cabbage diet will go the same way as essentially its just veg?

Cazzz I dont get what you mean? I'm trying it to kick start some weight loss so hopefully should drop the weight.

has anyone else tried it?

What exercise are you donig 4get?

...weight loss is a funny thing! it makes no sense!
You have hit the nail on the head river with your muscle weighing more than fat thing. Going to the gym is where you are going wrong. You need to track down a book called Escape Your Shape by Edward J Jackowski, who also wrote 'Hold It! You're Exercising Wrong'.

ISBN for Escape..... is 0-7432-1144-8 I got mine from Avon and it makes perfect sense. Exercising to your body shape so you develop and reduce in the right places. E.g. I am an hourglass and need to tone not add bulk.

I'll admit I have read it but not tried and tested. Renovating the house over the last few months has made me trimmer (along with missing some meals) but will follow the routine for my shape when life gets a bit more leisurely.

Excellent thank you! I'm going to go out and buy a copy now :o )

I did buy the 'fat flush plan' after reading loads about it but its so complicated for the sake of it I think!
an air walker and sit ups
I have probably read more diet and exercise books, and been on more diets than you river, and not easily impressed, but I was impressed enough with this book not to bin it, unlike many, when I moved!
btw the cabbage soup works well but only when you are in the right frame of mind to cope with its monotony, and only for the time allowed. Have a look too at rotation diet/eating plans.

I have far less issues with my weight these days. There might be a bit too much of me but the saving grace is that I go in and out in the right places. I settle for that. I deserve not to have to reject the food I like (in moderation).
Now for lunch!
If you need a kick start diet. Try the Heart foundation Diet. Its Fruit Veg & a very nice homne made soup after 3 days you get Jacket Spud & steak .
