Sad and Greedy People !!

Have just been our local social club which always has a a Beaujolais Day on 15/11 , the entertainment and food are free , but some members only come in on that day . Also they eat for England !!! It makes the regular club users angry as the bar profit pays for the day .It is not all the older members as a lot of the younger ones are also once a year free loaders , so what is the answer ?

Keep it free but perhaps collect stamps for it? ie, for the 2 months prior to the event give out stamps each week.

4 stamps means free entry into the club and anyone else can pay a fee to enter.

this reminds me of a time in our local pub when they used to lay some grub on on a sunday, just like a buffet. It was lovely. Some days it would be yorkies and roasties etc....

You put some money into a pot and it all went to charity!
I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw folks taking carrier bags out of their pocekts and filling them up! I even saw one with a bin liner! I wouldnt mind so much but these were ones who even avoided adding to the pot!
I hate to see this sort of greed!
