I think you can disable it in the menu set-up options so it doesn't play any music.

nah, its not haunting, atleast i dont think so, its just drab elevator music, meaningless, and to be honest, pointless! if i suddenley switched it one on day, and the music from the film "the ring" came on...then id be scared as hell and would turn it off quick!

lol, it's a bit odd isn't it, really repetitive. Find it makes me pick a programme quickly.

BOM BOM BOM BOM BOM BOM! Yeah I no the one and I too switch it off. Kinda reminds me of scary viking types heading my way.
