I want to cover some cupboard doors with leather, where can I buy it by the metre. Thank you in advance.

Check out leather dealers in yellow pages. You will need to ask for Skivers (the thin split from the skin surface, generally of a sheepskin). A Tannery in Ansty used to make a tabletop skiver which would also be OK.
