pc game instalation error message

Got game stalker loaded onto my pc(xp)but when I try to play the error message shows;
"The page file is disabled, or the the file size is set too small.
To make the game work correctly, the page file of minimum 2GB is required.
Please make all necessary changes to the system configuration before launching the game again."
Any ideas how I do this please?

Check the specification to make sure you have enough free space.

You can check your paging file size as follows:

Select Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System

On the Advanced Tab select the Performance Settings button.

On the Advanced Tab select the Virtual Memory Change button.

Done that and only have 36707MB space which is obviously not enough.
Suppose I'll have to get a larger external storage device fitted.
