Last night some ******* drew a line in indelible ink all along my dad's car (white) paintwork. Does anyone know how to remove this type of ink without damaging the paintwork?
Thanks in advance.

T-CUT, should get it off.
Just a simple, good quality polish will take it straight off. No need for solvents or abrasives.
Something like AutoGlym Radiant Wax has a very small amount of cut already in it...that'd take it straight off.
you can also try brake cleaner
it is a lot stronger than nail polish remover and can remove tarry deposits from carbody work without any problem
I personally used it on an hgv vehicle with no damage to paintwork
