I have been a Sky subscriber for about 4 years at my current address. We are moving soon and I wondered whether anyone knew the best and cheapest way to go about moving my satelite dish etc. Should I contact Sky and ask them to move it or is it better to cancel my subscription and start from scratch.

What Sky want you to do is inform them that you are moving and then leave your existing dish in place and pay for a installer to come and fit a new dish at your new house should you need it....I say knickers to that.

If your able to do it simply unbolt the dish (bracket and all) and ship it to your new abode and fit it yourself (it's not that hard to do....believe me I managed it myself) and then inform them you have moved after the fact.
