will a programme or games disc such as solitaire suite,that was made for ewindows 98 m.e xp work on vista or should i expect problems thanks for any replies

Probably is the answer. We have a Disc called Solitaire Master 2. Try as I might I cannot get it to install under Vista. However, daft as it is. it will work from the CD itself.
Try this.
Find the part of the program called autorun (small letters, it is about 105 kb if that helps.) Open it. The prog will try to install. Wait until the Solitaire Master Opening screen appears and then start up the program as usual. Be patient it takes a few minutes to work.
