I'm trying to hang three large, but not heavy, oil canvases on my wall. The problem is, I can't drill into the wall - it's too hard. I've tried sticking the paintings to the wall using the strongest mounting tape I can find but they just fall off. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can attach these paintings to the wall? Can you reccommend any products? Alternatively, I'm open to unusual or creative solutions as I'm fed up of looking at this blank wall!

Hello zulahoo, there is a simple solution to this if you haven't got a drill that can use "sds" bits, borrow one from a friend or relative , no wall is too hard to drill into an sds drill will do it in a few seconds, ask some relatives if they have one, good luck, Ray
I had a similar problem a few years ago....concrete walls which normal picture hooks would not go into.

I found these special hooks that amazingly worked...I just hammered them in with no problem....I found this site on google, but managed to buy them easily in an old fashioned hardware store...good luck!

I buy the nails I use from the craft shop/picture framer in our local village. They are about 35p each but definitely work, you just hammer them in as normal.
