have just brought an L G lcd telly around the back of it is a large array of various sockets one of which is labelled PCMCIA card my question is:- whats it for . there is no mention of it in the handbook that came with the telly

PCMIA card is an interface slot for a card reader .say if you buy top up tv or setanta,they send you a viewing card.you put the card reader in the slot and then your viewin card into the reader its for additional channels that you pay for .hope this makes sense
