name change

Can any body tell me how to change my user name,?as I think confused pete makes me sound , not alltogether there, I know I'm not all that bright but I would like to change to a better name, I posted this somewhere else yesterday, but can't remember where, so maybe i am a bit thick duh.

e-mail the ed and tell them you want to change your name

doesn't seem to work like that squarebear, cos it recognises your e/mail address, and says a user is already registered from there.

i've changed mine..... you contact the ed and ask him to close your account. you then re-apply from your same e-mail, using a different name
