I have this week received my fourth Wheelie bin..
Has anybody else got there's and what do they think ?
I have a Black / Pink / Brown / Blue one
Do you think its going a little to far or are you happy to do this..
Or should the manufactures cut down on the packaging...
Or would you rather we went back to days gone by when milk came in a glass bottle and got sent back, And you returned your pop bottles.............

Sorry Funny girl we do have space but some leave them near the front of the house looks like they have had babies..
WE must be behind the times in Scotland.
Blue paper
Black General waste
Brown Garden refuse.
I await to get our pink bin.
Can only assume it will be for glass etc.
Thanks anyway.
Hi Roy, we only have a black general waste wheelie. We also have a green box; they aren't for compulsory use yet. I think a lot of items are entirely overpackaged, and a lot could be done to reduce this: why wrap things individually then box them, for example?

And pop bottles should definitely have a return value on them, to increase people's motivation to return them.
That said, it's also up to individuals to be more considerate to the environment.
I haven't even got one wheelie bin :-(
We haven't got a wheelie bin either and I don't want one!
We have a bin liner delivered every week for general rubbish and a recycling bin for paper, glass and plastic. It works a treat.
wow, is it all of these colours or just one of them and what is the reason why
