height of garden fence, from who's side?

Hi,

I want to build a fence on the top of my garden wall.

Can anyone tell me if it is 2 metres from my side or my neighbours?

If the fence is on your side of the boundary, then the top of the fence can't be more than 2m from ground level.

Doesn't matter if your neighbours garden is higher or lower than yours.
